Qualifications:

  • CDL Class A license required.
  • Current or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
  • Minimum 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years.
  • A clean 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
  • Strict adherence to all federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
  • Consistent, reliable, full attendance is essential.
  • Willingness to work the required schedule, at the specified location, complete the Penske employment application, and pass background checks (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
  • This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must prioritize their safety and the safety of others.





Physical Requirements:

  • The associate must have the ability to see and hear clearly, with specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Duties will frequently involve movement, standing, walking, and sitting. The associate will also frequently use their hands to touch, handle, feel, and reach with their hands and arms. The associate must be capable of regularly lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
  • The associate must be legally qualified to operate a motor vehicle and be capable of safely entering/exiting the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area on a regular basis.
