Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 tramper driver to join our team due to company growth. This role involves a mix of domestic (UK) and international (Europe) work, hauling goods in both curtain-sided trailers and refrigerated trailers.

Responsibilities:

• Drive HGV Class 1 tractor units safely and efficiently on long-distance journeys.
• Load and unload cargo securely, following all safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and professional image, ensuring both the truck and trailers are spotless inside and out.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time, demonstrating a strong understanding of drivers' hours and WTD regulations.
• Operate the digital tachograph correctly.
• Represent the company politely and professionally.

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license held for at least 2 years (for insurance purposes).
• Minimum of 2 years experience in HGV Class 1 tramping.
• Over 30 years of age (for insurance purposes).
• Clean driving license with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Recent experience driving HGV in Europe.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, bank holidays, and extended periods away from home (both in the UK and EU).
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
• Clean and presentable appearance.

£160 per shift paid weekly in arrears.
