Job Description:
As a Class 5 Truck Driver, your day-to-day responsibilities include transporting steel and general palletized goods within Auckland and Hamilton. You will also handle the delivery of shipping containers to our two Auckland sites. Building strong relationships with our regular customers is an integral part of this role. You will primarily operate a near-new automatic truck, with occasional use of your Road Ranger skills.
Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you should be an experienced Class 5 Truck Driver with a high level of comfort in delivering steel and general palletized goods on flat decks and trailers. Proficiency in load backing and securement is a must. You should be legally eligible to work in New Zealand, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests.
