Role and Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate office operations, procedures, and resources to enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
• Perform long-distance driving.
• Communicate and coordinate with dispatchers.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws.
• Secure cargo and ensure proper arrangement and balance within the vehicle.
• Maintain detailed logs of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Address and correct any mechanical issues with the vehicle before driving.
• Plan routes and adhere to delivery schedules.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations.
• Report defects, accidents, and violations.
• Perform daily truck maintenance (refueling, cleaning, etc.).
• Load and unload box trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Interact professionally with customers.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection reports.
• Record cargo deliveries.
• Verify load accuracy.
